Ideas & thoughts

We received a lot of questions - what to do if a cadence sensor's battery is drained. We decided to develop a special sensorless mode for this kind of situation. It works very simply - a motor detects that your speed is more than 6 km/h and start helping you to ride. This mode will be very light - not more than 150W. But it will allow you to use your kit and recharge a cadence sensor at the same time.

Vekkit motor controller:

  • Sensorless mode (without a cadence sensor)
  • Speed statistics from a motor
  • Improved FOC settings for more smooth rides

Cadence sensor:

  • Increased RF power output for more stability for very long bicycles (Tandems, Cruisers, etc)
  • New low-power mode

Handlebar control:

  • New low-power mode

Mobile apps:

  • Ride recording starts automatically when your motor speed is more than 6 km/h
